Teachers
Culturally unacceptable student behaviors in school environment has become alarmingly high about which many people are concerned. Any sane person would believe that the steady growth of these trends will damage the education system and of based on the domino effect, the country.. I believe that you can find the reasons of this disorder in our educational environments and non-qualified teachers rather than the students' own issues.
It is strongly proven that the atmosphere has a significant effect on human reactions. Low air quality standards, lacking of air conditioning, insufficient space for playing, crowded environments are some examples that scientists have proven to be linked to students’ behavior. I would like to point out to the many many many 'don't' or 'jangan's' or 'cannot's' that can bee seen or heard filling up the school environment. Not only that these words are natural creativity killers, they are also strong silent challenges for the students to do the absolute opposite.The reason is that students are young and energetic and are natural sponges for information; factual or emotional ones thus governments should modify school standards and allocate more subsidies to school managers to reorganize the facilities and space and also to change the shape of our educational area from an office to a calm place for our students together with banning or reducing the words and phrases I mentioned earlier.
And, importantly.. check the teachers, are they interested to be teachers, will they enjoy teaching etc,...

I strongly agree with you. Last time when I was in school, I had met some teacher who is not interested in teaching. She just simply flits through the text book and just read exactly from the text book without any explanation. This is wasting the student time. From my point of view, principle of the school also needs to be responsible to this issue. Principle is the leader of the school; he is the one who handle all the problems happen in school. Examples of the problems are school’s environment, facilities, activities and etc. Principle is a connector between students, teachers and the government. So he can give some advice to government and think of the solution to solve the problems in school.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree that school environment is very crucial for students to have conducive environment for learning. Compared to the facilities available in university campus, the standard of school facilities is far more left behind. Due to technological advancement, we should improved and modify the school environment so that student can have better place to study. For example, young people nowadays enjoy their life at their home and their home are air conditioned. If the school's room is still old fashioned fanned room, students might not feel comfortable. In addition, teacher must be train so as they are in line with the trend and style of new generation. Traditional teaching approach would not suitable for student to follow up. They may feel bored. Therefore, more young teachers should be trained and they should stay connect with students all the time so that they understand what actually students want.
ReplyDeleteYes, exactly true! I agree with Chan Teng Yan. I remember when I was in school. I'd be very excited when there is some subject that requires me and my classmates went to the computer lab. We are eager to attend the class. This all is because the computer lab is the most comfortable place for us to study because the place air-conditioned, unlike other class and laboratories that only use the fan. As a result, we stay focused in class and did not realize that the time for these subjects is over. So, I think, facilities such as air conditioners, computers and so on are necessary to attract students more interested and focused on what they have learned.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree that school surrounding environment is the main factor for students to have conducive environment for learning.Teachers play an important role to born future leader for country, engineer,and so on. For this reason, teacher must be responsible so the future for the country and student will be bright.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jack that the school environment is the primary factor for students to have conducive environment for learning.If teachers do not play a good role to their students, there is no way to born a successful future leader. However, teachers who have responsible for their students may help theirs to achieve it.
ReplyDeleteSchool environment may cause a person to change. As a student, they stay in a school for almost 6 - 8 hours everyday. So, teacher will play the important role on conveying a good message to the students. As we know, if the upper beam is not straight, the lower ones will go aslant and collapse. So the teacher should show a good quality as the student will learn whatever their teacher do. As a conclusion, A good teacher may change the destiny of his students. Therfore, teacher should be responsible and try their best to teach their students.
ReplyDeletei agree with jack. A good teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops. That why we should appreciate a good and high quailty teachers for well educated us.
